Re: Commodore returning to the PC market
Commodore had a line of enthusiast PCs in this country, you could have a bunch of decals put onto them plus they came with an C64 emulator and bunch of roms pre installed on the computer. They had a big Commodore logo styled window in the sides of the case. Very cool looking consumer gaming rigs, bit over-priced though.

Now lets see if they get their act in gear and make the Windows key a C= this time.

Re: Commodore returning to the PC market
So, is it C64 compatible? Or better yet Amiga compatible? If not, yawn.
We are prepared to live in the plain and die in the plain!

correction, title of this thread should be:
"Some Generic IBM Clone Manufacturer Who Are totally Unrelated to the old Commodore Has Purchased the Commodore Name and Will Now use That name to Market a Contraption That Looks Like Half a Laptop"
whooopdie - how exciting.
Believe me, being a MASSIVE Commodore fan and collector myself, if Commodore were really to "return" I be one of the first to know about it.
