Commodore had a line of enthusiast PCs in this country, you could have a bunch of decals put onto them plus they came with an C64 emulator and bunch of roms pre installed on the computer. They had a big Commodore logo styled window in the sides of the case. Very cool looking consumer gaming rigs, bit over-priced though.

correction, title of this thread should be:

"Some Generic IBM Clone Manufacturer Who Are totally Unrelated to the old Commodore Has Purchased the Commodore Name and Will Now use That name to Market a Contraption That Looks Like Half a Laptop"

whooopdie - how exciting.

Believe me, being a MASSIVE Commodore fan and collector myself, if Commodore were really to "return" I be one of the first to know about it.
