Re: New (sequel) Blaster Master Monday 2/8/10
Anyone buy this yet? How is it? I'm REALLY hoping that it is as good as it looks. Would be nice to finally see a Blaster Master sequel that's good.
I run the 8/16-bit retro site TimeWarpGamer and if you want to follow the latest updates, check me out on Twitter.

You don't back read, do you?
It's pretty awesome. I don't think it is as good as the original, but so far, it has been its price.
I'm not a fan of having to swap between three weapons. Just use one button for the grenade, one for the gun. And you also have to press a button to strafe. The game's controls were perfect, I wish they hadn't toyed with them.
Music is great too, but so far I prefer the original score.

This game is really frustrating. I think I prefer the original, but I'm only 4 stages in.
