Cool Noise, and actually it's probably worth $15 of novelty. I plugged my copy into the GBP this morning since you set me thinking about it again. Does anyone else have the hardest time with the 'figure 8' mode? Yikes... I give up. On the flip side, either I'm really missing something, or the 'guy bouncing a ball in the air' mode is dumbly-easy. My favorite is the mode where the camera is above you and the opponent, both players encircling a rotating disc that affects the ball's motion back and forth.

Yeah, colored cartridges are fun. I'll probably pick up Kid Icarus from the Famicom Mini disk-drive releases just for the yellow cart...

I think that for the simplicity that $15 is about right for the BG games. Sadly, then tend to sell for around $30. So my plan has always been to just pick them up as I find them randomly at decent prices. Such as in this case.

The Famicom Mini collection has some great titles tha I wish had been part of the NES Classics series. Adventure Island comes to mind.

In the figure 8 mode you can apply spin to the ball by moving up or down quickly as you hit it. Then, once the ball bounces off the ground the spin will cause it to change direction, so its all about watching to see how the opponent hits it and being ready before it bounces.

I've had it since it came out. I remember loving it when I was younger. I haven't really played it in years.

I'll tell you one thing, the Game Boy DK's are unbelievable. I mean literally. The first time I played one I could not believe how much the managed to squeeze into a little cart.

tonight I put a bit of time into Motocross Maniacs because of yr post. And I think I'd have to admit that I only keep this game in my collection out of nostalgia. The handling is terrible. I'm not sure why I loved it so much back then, but can only guess that it had to do with the options. I mean, it was the closest I had to a portable Excitebike at the time. Am I wrong? Anyone?
