Re: Sonic DS Collection/Megaman Zero Collection
I loved Zero and Zero 2 and want to play the later two. I would say the games are not as hard as the classic Megaman 1 & 2 (NES) but they are still quite a bit hard and harder than the vast majority of modern games.futuramaguy42 wrote:Did anyone like the Megaman Zero games? Are they as hard as the regular Megaman series?

Re: Sonic DS Collection/Megaman Zero Collection
Keep in mind that there is less platforming in the Zeros games and more combat. So if your better at platforming they may be harder.
Re: Sonic DS Collection/Megaman Zero Collection
There are some very, very nasty platforming sections in Zero (Zero 2, collecting all the Cyber-elves - although that is optional - there are 2 I vividly remember that were completely ridiculous and of course involves using the extending rod which IMO doesn't work so well).MrHealthy wrote:Keep in mind that there is less platforming in the Zeros games and more combat. Mega Man Zero 3(?) was murder towards the end for platforming. There were loads of enemies all around, spikes everywhere, and awkward level design trying to force you into those spikes.Ivo wrote:There are some very, very nasty platforming sections in Zero (Zero 2, collecting all the Cyber-elves - although that is optional - there are 2 I vividly remember that were completely ridiculous and of course involves using the extending rod which IMO doesn't work so well).MrHealthy wrote:Keep in mind that there is less platforming in the Zeros games and more combat. Well yes, when there is platforming its generally brutal. But I would say there is a 2:1 ratio of straight combat to platforming. Maybe 1.5:1.
Re: Sonic DS Collection/Megaman Zero Collection
The platforming and combat was usually split up. It's not like the Classic Series where you had enemies attacking you while you jumped from platform to platform.MrHealthy wrote:Well yes, when there is platforming its generally brutal.
