Sonic DS Collection/Megaman Zero Collection

Post by futuramaguy42 »

I don't know if theres already been a thread about this, but I just read in Nintendo Power that they are releasing a Sonic Collection the DS that has Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Sonic and Knuckles. The people in Nintendo Power said it had a bit of slowdown in the preview copy but hopefully they can get that fixed. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/ar ... ?id=228616

Theres also a Megaman Zero Collection coming out, I never tried any of these, but they seem quite fun. These are the GBA ones I think. http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/62144

DS is starting to get some cool collection games. They should release a Mario one, like with Mario Bros 1, 2, 3, and World 1 and 2. I know all these games are on GBA, but since the new DS doesn't have a GBA slot, I think they should release these again.

I doubt we'll ever see a Mario compilation again. Not as long as they are able to sell them individually on the VC. Personally, I'd love to see it on the Wii with lots of extras and, in general, some real care taken in the overall package. But I doubt it will happen.

I have to say that I'm very happy with the Sega Genesis Collection for the PSP. It has 21 games which include Sonic 1 & 2. The graphics are crisp and the emulation is spot-on. It is a great value for the money at $21. Hopefully the DS collection will be a similar value for the money and not just include on Sonic games.

Was there ever a Mario collection other then All-stars?

Nope. In fact they went backwards and broke out the games individually AFTER that - Super Mario Bros DX, the GBA NES collection, the Mario Advance games, the VC releases...

Yep, the only re-releases/remakes were sold individually.

Well, Super Mario Deluxe for GBC had Super mario bros 2: the lost levels as an unlockable bonus if you got 300,000 points or more.

Really? Hmm, guess I'm off to play the game again.

Did anyone like the Megaman Zero games? Are they as hard as the regular Megaman series?
