Yeah, gonna cut back on buying myself until I actually beat some of the ones I have.noiseredux wrote:yeah it's not an expensive game. I just don't really buy a lot of games online. Most of my library comes from trades here or thru goozex. Other than that, if I find something I'm looking for at a reasonable price, I'll snatch it up. But I really only order a game that I'm "in need of" right away. Like something for Together Retro for instance. I mean, if I were to just order every game I wanted that was cheap online then I'd be broke!AmishSamurai wrote:copy of faceball on amazon right now going for $4 including shipping. only in "acceptable" condition though, so a bit wary.
That looks interesting though.

BTW:Remember that thread I created about Mega Man V? ( http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... a&start=10 ) You said, that if it was in the US, you would be bidding against me, so your rule sure does have some exceptions, doesn't it?

Mega Man V was pretty cool. You actually fought a different villain in that game... well, until the end. Then it turns out Dr. Wily was behind everything.noiseredux wrote:the GB Mega Mans are great collectables. But not many of them are actually essential for playing in all honesty.slowslow325 wrote:Super Mario Land Series

Maybe the Mega Man series

Keep in mind going in that it is the worst of the Bit.Generation games. It's not going to be some amazing thing. Its just a small little game to be played with friends when you have 5 minutes to kill.

oh yeah I'm fine with it. I fully realize the minimalism concept of the series and all. Honestly, it's more of a Collector's purchase for me.
Re: Essential Gameboy Games?
Same here. I love how the games are black instead of the standard grey. Adds class in my opinion.

sidenote: I'm glad to see so many GB/GBA enthusiasts coming out of the woodwork lately. It's awesome.

This actually makes me feel kind of bad. The Game Boy was the system I spent the most time on as a kid, but I don't remember a damn thing about it. Isn't not remembering your childhood a sign of being crazy?noiseredux wrote:sidenote: I'm glad to see so many GB/GBA enthusiasts coming out of the woodwork lately. It's awesome.
