I actually prefer Super Mario Bros. over Super Mario Bros. 3. (World is still my favorite)

Hot Damn! Just gave Pocky & Rocky a try for the first time. It's one of the best most unknown SNES games I've played in some time. Thanks so much for bringing it to my attention. It will definitely be joining my site in the near future, quite possible as a top 10 run 'n gun or honorable mention.

well, if you love that. try the sequel Pocky & Rocky 2 on SNES or Pocky & Rocky with Betty for GBA. 8)

the only thing i don't like about the GBA version is it's too short.

So, if you had to pick a favorite SNES P&R, which one would it be?

Just finally added Pocky & Rocky 1 & 2 to my greatest SNES games list, as well as my recommended list for Run' n gun games. Thanks so much for bringing these to my attention. After some more playing, I could even see Pocky & Rocky breaking into the top 10 for Run 'n guns.
