Ok, I'm not always wowed by realistic graphics, but... WOW!

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I want the Bjork video collection ever since renting it from the Uni library. Just can never find it for a decent price.

There is one other game with realistic graphics that I'm wowed by:

The Secret World

and to stay on topic...

It's cool to like Bjork, but just don't end up like this guy

What's so impressive about that? It looks like standard pre-rendered game footage.

LOL that guy was fuuuuucked up. I remember reading about him but never saw this video, he is 100x more mental than I imagined.
Around 1:10 he looks like some villain from a Dick Tracy comic.

I think it's better than standard, but what is really great about it is that it's got style. It feels ordinary, then you see that weird S&M monster and the girl turns out to be some pedestrian looking ninja warrior. I don't really care too much about graphic realism, but when a game can do something unique and fantastical with it, then I'm all for it. I think both of these clips do that.

I always loved the video for I Miss You. The guys who did Ren and Stimpy animated the video.

You guys are too cult. I'd never think of Bjork after watching the trailer. Rather, I remembered Winspector (that had never happened before with me watching Halo videos).

I think it's better than standard,
I was meaning standard in terms of material (this looks like standard trailer stuff), not technical quality. The flame effects look nice.
but what is really great about it is that it's got style. It feels ordinary, then you see that weird S&M monster and the girl turns out to be some pedestrian looking ninja warrior.
While I do think that the demon (I guess that's what it's supposed to be) is kind of cool, I knew there was going to be some kind of monster in the trailer. The fact that it felt very ordinary gave away it's surprise. (I mean, how many trailers show some chick using a blender?)
I don't really care too much about graphic realism,
I can relate, I don't really care that much about realistic graphics myself, but I can appreciate a game that looks realistic.
but when a game can do something unique and fantastical with it, then I'm all for it. I think both of these clips do that.
Eh, I really couldn't care less about trailer footage. It's just a guaranteed soul crushing.
