The Model 2 has the best D-pad known to man, so its quite certainly the best Saturn controller ever made. The 3D controller is also pretty far up there.

It's all about the model 2 baby. It's light, comfortable, and highly accurate. Hasn't been duplicated in quality since it's creation back in 94.

How is it that after all these years, Sega has essentially been the only company that had any idea how to make a D-pad worth a shit?

Of course, they did sort of screw the pooch in that area when they put out the DC.

All yall who have alot of experience with Saturn sticks. Which one do you suggest? Right now I am thinking about a HSS-0136 - the Green and black one. But is there a better one out there?

Ill be building a 2 player layout sometime this summer, but kinda want a stick now for my almost nightly runs of Dodonpachi and Radiant Silvergun - its a release after a hectic day at work.
