Do you mean Dr. Wily's Revenge? I don't remember that.

EDIT: I just checked and "Mega Man Dr. Wiley's Revenge" for Gameboy doesn't have A and B reversed. A is jump and B is shoot.
hmm. I got MM I-IV in the last couple months, so I must be confusing one of them. But I could have sworn that one of them had swapped the buttons. I might just be confused because I got so many GB games at once after the new year. My bad.

Didn't you say you use your Gameboy Player a lot? The Gamecube version of the Mega Man Collection reverses the A and B buttons. Maybe that's where the confusion comes from.
Systems: TI-99/4a, Commodore Vic-20, Atari 2600, NES, SMS, GB, Neo Geo MVS (Big Red 4-slot), Genesis, SNES, 3DO, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GBA, GCN, NDSi, Wii

no no, it's not that. I know the Gamecube versions of MM games cold.

It may be Simpsons Night Of The Living Treehouse Of Horrors that I'm thinking of that reversed the buttons. I got MM1 for GB in the same lot...

Kirby's Dreamland and Dreamland 2
Pokemon Red / Blue
Metroid II (never really played)
Zelda: Link's Awakening (never really played)
Whatever Castlevania games came out for GB (never played)
Maybe Final Fantasy Adventure and/or the Final Fantasy Legends? I really know nothing about these games except that they are the first in the Seiken Densetsu and SaGa series, respectively. Are they any good?
Metroid II is great if you like the original.
Zelda: Link's Awakening is fantastic. Think of it Link To The Past II.
There's Castlevania: The Adventure and Castlevania Legend I & II -- all good.
Final Fantasy Adventure is EXCELLENT. It was re-released as Sword Of Mana on GBA, but I prefer the original monochrome game. It's the greatest Zelda game that isn't Zelda.
Final Fantasy Legend (I-III) are all awesome.

and BTW, what part of MA are you from?

. The Legend Of Zelda: Links Awakening
. Bill & Ted's Excellent Game Boy Adventure
. R-Type
. Super Mario Land
. Pokemon Blue/Red
. Metroid II: Return Of Samus
. Tetris
. Faceball 2000
. Castlevania II: Belmonts Revenge
. Kirby's Pinball

Its a great read if anyone ever see's it lying around, tells the story's of most consoles, behind the scenes, why it worked, why it didn't and so on. Just got my copy laminated, want it to last.

I disagree with R-Type. It's okay. But wouldn't be anywhere near a Top 10 for me. Also, I've never played Bill & Ted's... can anybody say from experience that it's good?

Two unappreciated classics for the GB.
Survival Kids is GBC, which won't work on his Super Game Boy.

It's not a top ten list, its a perfect 10 list, 10 perfect games for the system. Later tonight I will write out what it had said under Bill & Ted's. It is a platformer, they just said it was well crafted pretty much. Will write it out later, when I am home.

I do agree with rtype. IMO Rype DX is better and it has Rtype one and 2! I'll work on the super gameboy because it is a black cartridge. Oh yeah, on Rtype DX, you get 2 shmups in 1!

Yeah DX is way better. But they didn't list DX. They listed the original. Which is only the first part.
