What's the deal with everyone here being in NC? Hahah. I'll be in Durham come the 21st on an indefinite stay with my sister--keep me abreast of the situation, and I'll keep abreast of hers!
Haha, shoot, I make a summer trip to Georgia every year anyway to see the Braves play.
It was a surreal experience for me my first summer there in Georgia. I was Dekalb county loitering in the mall waiting for the game to start in a few hours. Long story short, I ended up in a food court where I was the only guy who was white. Top that off with being in a wheelchair and I encountered quite a few stares. Was a different story at Turner Field, though.
Ha--stares as in *stares* from other people...again, probably because I was literally the only white guy in the mall that day, haha.
Not sure which mall it was out of those four; all I remember is finding about a bazillion shoes stores there including all kinds of Footlocker. Hence the surreal.
I'm in South Carolina, for the record. The mall I went to was probably in North Carolina, though - I was visiting some friends in Rock Hill, SC (Where I went to college), and we always end up going up north for the good times.
