This. Inazuma, you're more blind and foolish regarding religion than they are themselves.jp1 wrote:Inazuma, the funny thing is that your know it all attitude and inability to even remotely consider the view or opinion of anyone else is exactly what makes you the most like a Scientologist. You seem more like Tom Cruise (going around like you know it all and everyone else is an idiot) than most people I have ever encountered. It's funny the things we hate the most in life often turn out to be our own shortcomings.
Your beliefs are so set in stone and misguided that you may as well start up your own cult/religion because it is nearly impossible for anyone to make an inch of headway in a discussion with you.
I'm not sure that I share the opinion that you can make a rational or reasonable argument on your own behalf about anything but I would like to see it happen one day. The thing that scares me the most is if you are honest about your age because if you were a 15 year old kid I could forgive some of the headstrong garbage you vomit up.

This is idealistic BS to me. The majority of parents love the concept of their children more than they love the children themselves. Oh yeah, they'll love them unconditionally, as long as the children turn out the way they wanted them to. Go outside that though, and they suddenly care a lot less.ZeroAX wrote:Alpinex2 wrote:After reading this thread it shows me how young this fourm really is. I agree even though I don't have a child yet. I always say that the child might not forgive the parent, but the parent will always forgive the child.
Like I said, I'm not on very good terms with my parents at this point.

Yeah, I get it. I am a stubborn asshole who refuses to consider ridiculous made up bullshit that no one has ever been able to prove. I'm sorry that I can't disregard facts and logic. What's wrong with me? Please teach me how leave this world of reality and join you guys in the fantasy world of lies and bullshit.SplashChick wrote:This. Actually, I did consider the bullshit to be true originally. That's what makes me open minded. I am still open minded right now. If you can prove me wrong on something, I will switch to your side in an instant.

See, this is why you're still an idiot. Making blanket statements and mass generalizations about religion, relationships, and children means you ARE disregarding facts and logic.Inazuma wrote:Yeah, I get it. I'll have to respectfully disagree with that research. You can rig the results to support any theory you want.Hatta wrote: Also, I should point out in the research that I mentioned, it is true that couples without kids are happier than couples with kids.

LOL yes, all sources are rigged, nothing can be proven because everyone is just pushing their own agenda, so your opinion is superior because you say it can't be disproven.gtmtnbiker wrote:I'll have to respectfully disagree with that research. If you don't have children then what's the point to anything? Go through your life collecting peices of plastic that you can't take with you where ever you belive you're going? I have one of the largest colletions on this website yet I would sell everything at the drop of a hat if I had to, at the end of the day it's just stuff a distraction from everyday life but don't let your "stuff" own you. A rich man with no family is much more poor then a poor Man with lots of family.
