You'll be so pleased when you get your DC up and running on that again. I shelved my DC for a while till I got a tv with a vga/dvi port.

Very clean setup. When I move, I'll probably get a better TV stand to hide my games and peripherals. I think it helps focus on the tv more.

I'm getting pretty excited to have the DC out again the more I think about it. If I can find a good way to rotate my tv I'll be in heaven.

I just personally confirmed on my VGA CRT Monitor that the Dreamcast Lightgun does work! House of the Dead in glorified lightgun 640x480!

I wrote an extensive article concerning CRT/LCD Video inputs and Lightguns in signature link below.

The only thing I have not personally tested yet is a VGA HD TV. On your VGA HD TV can you see if the Dreamcast Lightgun will work in VGA? Can you post results here or the link below?

Oh and here is that Black dreamcast I mentioned earlier:

I like the Segasports Dc, but I already have the standard one. And well I'd feel kinda silly having one and never playing sports games on it. I probably won't be trying to play light gun games on it though, not worth the trouble for me.

I wish the black DC didn't have that big Sports Logo on it either. Actually House of the Dead is a very good game and still playable with regular controllers. I just looked again at the picture of your setup and realized you have an LCD.

Unfortunately since your TV is a LCD the lightgun won't work.

Did you find something to rotate the TV with, or do you just lift it off, turn, then re-hang it? Looks good.

I got a rotating mount from here. It's by far the cheapest one I've seen, and I haven't had any problems with it yet.

Thanks for the link! I've been dying to find a wall mount that will tilt vertically for my 47" LCD. :D

Bleh, don't have one that will work for my TV. Oh well.
