1. Went way too fast.
2. Played Forza3 with a few friends until the early hours.
3. Play it by ear and see what happens.

Re: The Official "New Years 2010" Thread
2009 was quite cool - I just got my professional qualification signed off a on Wednesday (3 years hard work), and can now look forward to graduating in 2010 (and the subsequent pay rise!)
I went out with a few nice girls, and seem to be in the process of scoring a lovely lady who is even better than all of them! I did manage to entirely miss the hint that she wanted to spend new years with me though...
Wishing everybody at Racketboy all the best for the future!

1: A lifetime of drama all in one year.
2: Did naughty things to the boyfriend.
3: Try to curb the inevitable drama my family will bring me.

1. I got married in the fall of last year. On my honeymoon we were on a cruise through the Caribbean that started in December 2008 and ended in January 2009. We were partying like rockstars to ring in 2009 on the top deck of the cruise ship listening to an 80s metal cover band, only to take a speed boat the next day up the piranha infested Rio Nueve deep into the rainforests of Belize to go the the Lamanai Ruins of the Mayans where we climbed to the top of one of the ancient stone temples. That was the best New Years ever! The rest of the year was pretty great to. This was the first year for my wife and I living together in our new apartment. She is the love of my life and I'm loving every minute of it. Racketboy related, I also got a bitchin new laptop and bought more games than I probably should have (the deals were just so good!), I also picked up a lot of old PS2 titles on the cheap. My wife and I are both big Tori Amos fans and we went to see her live and were able to talk with her and get our pictures taken with her. As Tori would say, it's been a pretty good year.
2. My wife and I watched 200 Cigarettes, which is a New Years tradition for us. We went out for some kickass Indian food, where the manager was super nice and gave us a free appetizer and a free dessert. We played Guitar Hero to rock in the New Year. We watched the Space Needle fireworks on TV as we called our families. And then we ran around outside taking pictures of the moon because it was the first blue moon to happen on a New Years Eve in 20 years.
3. I plan to finish my general exams this year, start my dissertation, apply for internship and make some real progress in getting the hell out of graduate school.

I ended up getting drunk at a party with a friend I have not seen in like a year and a half. Surprisingly I am not hung over considering I had glasses of alcohol that was just a mish mash of a ton of peoples drinks.

1. It was okay, on average. It's odd to realize we've been in the 21st century a whole decade now, so it's not new anymore. And the fact that CDs, and physical media in general, have been becoming obsolete in the past decade is rather annoying to me.
2. On New Years night, I had horse-doovrees. Nothing else special.
3. I want to get a PS3, an HD-TV, and a job this year. I also want more good games to come out this year than '09.
