The Official "New Years 2010" Thread
1. So how was 2009 for you?
2. What are you doing tonight?
3. What are your hopes and aspirations for 2010?
Myself:
1. It was even. Lot's of up's and down's. 2007 was terrible. 2008 was great. 2009 was so-so
2. Just going to sit at home, drink beer, eat pizza, play some games. Unless something changes
3. Seriously looking to get in shape in 2010 and hopefully find a fun, sexy girlfriend

1. It was okay. Summer was a blast, but school has been pretty brutal.
2. Going to a party, but I'll probably leave early. If I bother staying up until 12, I'll just go to bed shortly after
3. Eh, I don't really have much I feel like I need to do. The only serious thing is to keep my grades high, but other than that I'll just move forward.

Re: The Official New Years 2010 Thread
2009 was a lot better then 2008.
2008 for me ended with ice maker kitchen flood/car hit in a parking lot/Ike leaking and flooding the kitchen again/dishwasher dead/car fuel leak/last grandparent dying all within the last few months of the year
2009 ended with car hit in parking lot/winning a PS3 in the last few months. So yeah, last minute highlights were quite a bit better even if there was an encore performance. I'm about to head out for dinner and Avatar 3D at Imax with friends. I just need to take my brain out for the movie and it should be enjoyable.
Hopefully I'm going to spend more of my time next year rebuilding the Beetle, give away/sell some of the clutter I've collected, and attack my backlog more vigorously.

I had a pretty rough 2009, but I'm optimistic for the new year.

1. it was pretty cool. got an awesome girlfriend, watched my son grow up, lost my job and found another one (which is probably for the better), played and attended a ton of awesome shows (i saw UNBROKEN, for christ's sake...), started a new great band which i will force all of you to listen to at a later date, and i got a lot of awesome gaming stuff. cool year.
2. i'm going to my girlfriend's in a few minutes to watch movies, drink beer, eat food, and just hang out. we will probably play peggle for a long time after midnight.
3. spend more time with my son, spend more time with my awesome girlfriend, go back to school, stop working within the "service industry," go on tour at least twice, looking to get more physically fit, get a new car, finalize my gaming set-ups, and purchase more components to complete my dream guitar rig.
