I know it doesn't help you now, but for everyone else, don't leave anything valuable in a vehicle if its not in the trunk or otherwise out of sight. Especially with the economy in the toilet.
That really sucks man.

QFFT, man. I don't know if this is a state-only thing or if it's all around the country, but Cops are going around ticketing people who leave valuable objects in plain site now.Hobie-wan wrote:I know it doesn't help you now, but for everyone else, don't leave anything valuable in a vehicle if its not in the trunk or otherwise out of sight. How is that breaking the law in any way?GSZX1337 wrote:QFFT, man. Think the ticket is less for breaking a law and more being careless.

Careless or not, it has to have some kind of legal foundation if you can get a ticket for it.AmishSamurai wrote:Think the ticket is less for breaking a law and more being careless.

Yeah, that doesn't make sense.
Some douche nozzle broke into my friends Jeep by cutting through his windows with a box cutter. They tried to steal his cd player, but weren't successful. They also didn't look in his glove box, which held his $150+ sunglasses, and the spare keys to the Jeep. Morons.
We've had a lot of car break ins in my town lately. If you own a gps, not only is it recommended that you hide it in your car, but to also clean the window where it was stuck to. If a thief sees a ring where the suction cup was, they know the gps is probably still in the car.

I heard them be called tickets, but I never heard of them actually having fines attached to them. They might just be warnings. I'll see if I can find more information.Jrecee wrote:How is that breaking the law in any way?GSZX1337 wrote:QFFT, man.
