This. The only time I have to tie my shoes is when I wear my dress shoes, since they have that specific type of shoestring that has absolutely no grip whatsoever and comes untied through normal walking.

Put me down as a third. I used to always wear running shoes as my daily-wear shoes, with a separate pair of running shoes to actually use for running. After they were broken in, I could usually tie them once and just slip them on and off.

Last year, though, my wife got tired of me wearing such huge shoes, so she wanted me to get some Converse AllStars for my birthday. I enjoy wearing them, but I have to tie them every time. They don't just slip on and off like my big, boat-like running shoes.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering what shoes I actually use for running, I wear Reebok Classic Runners. They're cheap (about $20) and I don't have any special foot-needs, like heavy arch support.

There are velcro sport shoes for adults (with this I mean just velcro, because there are also some that have laces + velcro). Yesterday I was using some of my Reebok ones. It is not trivial to find them though.

I have a pair of these:

(all black though). The name of the model is so outrageous that I actually remember that by memory. Those shoes are very 90s IMO :) (Pump? :D) and I specifically looked for them after they were out of season - you can probably find some extra stock in ebay if you want.

The model I used yesterday have is probably out of season already as well, but I can still look up the model and post here if you are interested - it is one of those "casual wear" ones that is not really meant for a specific sport, they can go by unnoticed.Other major brands are bound to also have similar offerings with just velcro.

Now, what I would like to find are some adult sized shoes of those that have wheels on the heel...

I'm considering buying some more shoes and I am still disappointed with the lack of availability of velcro shoes for adult men (apparently adult women have slightly easier time - maybe I should buy "women" shoes, most are rather unisex actually).

Does anyone know of good models to look up (Inazuma, maybe you found out some?)... I tried to find some Reebok Time and a Half KC in my size but its an old model and it is not easy...

Try Converse star player ev. They have a padded back and are more comfortable and go on easier.

Nah, I never found any good velcro shoes. I would still like them though. They even have silent velcro now.
