I consider it a Christmas movie, it takes place in that time of the year so it should be. I agree about how the second Die Hard sucks, I like the new one though.

Nobody likes the second one? It's like my second favorite in the series (pun unintended).

Die Hard CAN be watched all year round but I only watch it during the Holidays. I was actually planning on watching it tonight. So I say it is a Christmas movie. Same with Die Hard 2 and Gremlins.

I vote yes, it is, but it doesn't have to be defined that way alone.

I hate to bring up an old thread, but it is that time again.
Today on my site I listed my top 6 Christmas Movies and #1 on the list was Die Hard.
Half of the movies on my list my wife does not consider "Christmas Movies" because they have nothing to do with the holiday directly.
Anyway, check out my Top 6 if you like.

Maybe 'cause I'm not a professional.
I could come up with other excuses, but that is the only one that is 100% accurate.
And it sounded better on paper and I was too tired to redo it once I saw the final product. This happens often - some of my comics I really like and others are meh.
Anyway...back to my list - Batman Returns and Gremlins are Christmas movies to me.
