Post by Luke »

Mike & Mike in the morning on ESPN had a heated debate over this.

Your thoughts?

I say no because a Christmas movie is something you only want to watch during that season. IE Charlie Brown's Christmas, Christmas Story, Home Alone, ect.

Die Hard I can watch all year round.

Hmm...I disagree that a Christmas movie is one you only want to watch during that season. I actually wouldn't mind watching A Charlie Brown Christmas at other times of the year, just as I would enjoy watching their Halloween special. Let's face it, Peanuts is great.

Was great. About ten or fifteen years ago, all the Peanuts cartoons just fell flat on me. They have that timeless quality to them, but I no longer enjoy them. The Muppets, on the other hand, timeless.

The best thing about the Peanuts animation is the music, the trippy little asides with Snoopy scored with classic 60s jazz. Good stuff.

Yeah I'd say it is. Although Eyes Wide Shut is probably my favorite christmas movie that isn't really a chrsitmas movie.
