But we all know the correct way is to plug two USB joysticks into your PC and fire up the MAME copy.

I'm enjoying Smash TV this month-great memories :)

However, I saw mention of Broken Sword for Dec. Now that's one I've NEVER played-but would like to.....just need to find a PC copy that plays on XP or Vista-Is that easy???

I do hope so :) :) :)

Broken Sword plays swimmingly on XP, Vista, 7, and most anything that supports ScummVM.

Hey, thanks for that :D

Good old ScummVM - I had that on an old laptop.

Will have to reboot and get ready for BS. As I said a game I've always meant to play - but never actually got round to - so will be all 100% fresh

Looking forward to it :)

Ive got no excuse other than a recent Battlestar addiction:
Jan - Battletoads
Feb - Jackal
Mar - Phantasy Star (tentative)

If anyone has issue with them, youve got a couple days before I update the first post and set them in stone.

Battletoads makes me happy. Phantasy Star is a super awesome surprise. I probably won't participate in Jackal. But like I said, I'm happy to see Phantasy in there as an RPG will make for some good variety. We need a shmup or another 2D fighter soon, though!

Jackal is techincally a shmup. A multidirectional shooter.
