Vectrex for $10 it worked perfectly and was in great condition. I am not particularly interested in owning one though and the shipping costs prohibit selling it online easily.

My brother went to a thrift store and found a copy of some game called Megaman Legends 2 (PS1). He said it was kind of scratched, but was only $3. I said go ahead and get it, but I'd never really heard of it (I don't know a whole lot about PS1 stuff). He wound up putting it back because the line was too long.

Happened upon this Craig's listing around Sunday or Monday:

I have a model 2 Sega Genesis in great working condition, comes with the original power adapter and the cables, 3 controllers and 14 games: sonic the hedgehog 1 and 2, skitchin' , street fighter 2 championship edition, nba jam and vector man 2 among others.

Don't go to ********* and pay over 100 dollars for this stuff. They have bad prices and I have the quality prices.

I am asking 50 bucks.

My phone # is *** *** **** call or text anytime.

I personally vouch for the system in good condition I just played on it today. I will delete this posting when I sell it so if you are reading this then I haven't sold it yet.

I thought, "Gee, that's a decent list of games. Not just shit sports titles." So I emailed the guy asking for a full list of the other games he mentioned.

He replies:

Oh they are just some games from my sons closet. the games I got are called gunstar heros, aladdin, musha, toejam, sonic, some zombies game, a mutant league game, streets of rage 3, general chaos, sonic 2, castlevania bloodline, monopoly.

I almost had a panic attack. I'm broke until payday. I emailed him, in desperation, asking if he would part the games out.

No reply for a day. I got this this morning:

Some guy offered me 20 bucks for all the games and he called my phone number which was on the ad which is why I put it on there so I sold them to him, do you just want to buy the sega?

So if you're having a shitty day today. Just think about this post. I guarantee it will make you feel better.

Oh wow dude.. I feel so bad for you.. I had a similar experience a couple weeks back on craigslist.. Some guy was selling PS2 games for 2 bucks each.. The games were FF XII, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Xenosaga, Megaman X anthology, Unlimited Saga and various other games like Devil May Cry... I was going to buy 11 games in all, but of course I was late and someone bought his whole list.. He then took the ad off craigslist... >.<

And it happened again... same fucking day.

I walked into a local retro store to have a disc resurfaced. I shuffled through the Dreamcast games while waiting... no one EVER goes over there, not even the employees. Goddamned disc only Power Stone 2 sitting at the top of the stack.

Me: "Uh, how much do you guys want for Power Stone 2?"
Employee: "What??? I didn't even know we had that!!"
Me: "Pretend I said Power Stone 1."
Employee: *smirk* "Power Stone 1? $10"

Yes, he was really going to sell it for that much.

I had no money on me. They were closing in 12 mins.
