well i think a 2d HD bomberman would rock as you could get alot more people playing at once and like alot of thing, the more the merrier,
other titles i think would work
Guardian Heroes, as its pretty sweet now, wide screen would be nice and the chaos onscreen would benefit from a modern overhall (same anime style and no slowdown.....
)
r type and or project x einhander etc.., same widescreen and uber crisp visuals with some geo wars background warping when you unload your arsenal.... mmmm puuurdey
i think games that are too old may get diluted with too much eye candy, some games with simple gfx / angles work better, also simple games with mimimal amount of onscreen characters would look good but still bland, i think more hectic games stand to benefit from the modern technology, Like Tomb Raider in my opinion worked better in an angular world where the jumps could be more subtle as the envoriment was readable without blatent graphical clues.

Whoa -- how did I not think of that one!gradualmeltdown wrote:OMG
guardian heroes redrawn like that would be insane. Best game ever!!!
Not sure if it would sell enough to warrant the effort, but that would totally rock!

Seeing this thread the two games that came to my head were Guardian Heroes and Gunstar Heroes.guardian heroes redrawn like that would be insane. Best game ever!!!
Also apart from slowdown it could help to get rid of the copious amount of slowdown Guardian Heroes has at times. (2 Player especially).
Add online versus and co op for Guardian Heroes and online co op for Gunstar and I'd go nuts. Of course they'd have to keep intact offline multiplayer and I'm not sure 360's or PS3s controller really fit em tho, but if Treasure converted em I'm sure they'd get it right.

With Time Travel and Knuckes throughout!GagaMan wrote:I think a HD Sonic that combines all the characters and levels from Sonic 1,2,3K and CD (all with up to 4 player split screen or online) would be amazing.
Heaven!
