Alright good. Why the hell did they get rid of the original one that's been around since windows 95? It's simple! Click start, hover over programs, click on your application. With this newfangled thing I've got to scroll through this small box and hunt for my program.

Actually, the search thing is pretty fast now, so it's usually quicker just to use that. If everything is indexed of course. If it isn't, it would probably be as slow as the old one.
So guys, this is a question for all of you using Win 7 now.
I usually run Ubuntu Linux as it's my main OS of choice. Now with Windows 7 out I'm back to dual booting because I'm writing some code in C# with XNA... and dabbling a bit in DirectX. Which are Windows exclusives (well technically, the mono project is porting C#, but it's not there yet).... and all the virtual machines I've used don't have the best emulation of these things... virtualbox being the best and still not really pulling it off at a level that I can trust it in writing my own stuff.
Anyways Ubuntu displays my time just fine and dandy. So does my BIOS which keeps it up to date, so it isn't a dead battery for the BIOS or nothing.
But when I boot up Win7 my clock is always a few hours off and I have to go and set it back to what it's supposed to be. Several other basic settings aren't sticking either until I set them repeatedly over time. Like my background and theme randomly resets or changes on me on a reboot. Or my audio options (I have 2 sound cards).
Like I said these other options have finally started sticking after setting them a few times thankfully. But the time keeps on buggering up on me... which is really freakin' annoying. I do have a capture card and I use Media Center to record shows, but with the clock off like this, it kind of defeats the entire option of setting specific shows to record at certain times.
