Screw it then, mine didn't even arrive anyway. I'm not waiting until Monday to find out. I'm downloading the x64 version of Ultimate.

I can't believe Apple already has anti 7 "Hi, I'm a Mac" commercials out. I just saw two different ones.

Actually there is a 'Starter' and 'Home Basic' version.

Yes I know there is a Starter version, it's preinstalled primarily on netbooks since it's a cut down version of windows 7 but is only distributed through OEM. the Home Basic version isn't available in the UK, Europe, US (and a few other countries). So why call it 'Home Basic' Surely they should just call it Windows 7 Basic. Home should be just known as Home. I think that would help the cluster fuck of retail configurations. Granted it's miles better than the Vista debacle but 6 different versions is a bit much. At least they've ramped the features as you go from starter to ultimate though, rather than having certain features in lesser versions that are missing from 'better' versions.

In it's current state Home Premium implies that there is a more cut down configuration available for people to buy. Yet they find it's not available in their country so why hint at an alternative? If the lowest version of Windows 7 people can buy is Home Premium. Why is it 'premium' if that is the lowest configuration they can actually buy?

I am not a fan with the many configurations for Windows 7. I think at most there should be Home and Business versions.

I always liked those commercials, since they perpetuate the stereotype that Mac users are douches.

I always liked the image that had the Mac and PC guys, saying "If you were a business, who would you hire?"

Seriously, would you hire the awkward yet well-intending professionally dressed worker, or would you hire the smart-assed "artsy" slacker who probably hasn't worked an honest job in his entire life?
