Also, anybody know if the DC Spawn game is any good? I've got Spawn on the SNES, though I'm not really impressed with it.
It is the best Spawn game (which isn't saying much), and actually kind of fun. It is supposedly great for local multiplayer too (think of it as a 3rd person Quake III Arena), but even playing through the game in single-player mode (arena matches) is great fun for a while.
XIII and Die Hard Arcade come to mind. Also The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a wonderful 3D platformer for PS1 and Saturn. The Genesis JP games are good too.
A lot of the 16 bit era disney platformers were really good...Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse stick out.
Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but Chronicles of Riddick - Escape from Butcher Bay (the original, for the XBOX/PC, I haven't played the new one yet) is a phenomenal game.
Did no one mention Batman: Arkham Asylum yet? Batman Returns for the SNES was also a great game. And then, of course, there is Hokuto No Ken for the PS2.
