I think my wife would pay for your plane ticket if you would talk to our local school board.KholdStare wrote: Thanks alot everyone! I'm starting therapy ASAP. And hahaha at Luke " ass burgers" that's what my mom said also. But anyway, yes I think children with Asperger's should have seperate classrooms because it takes more time to teach children with asperger's and they need a teacher who can fully understand their situation and give them the attention and time they need, because in a regular classroom like you said the teacher will have to take more time to work with one student and this takes time away from the other students, and in most cases if the teacher doesn't know the child has asperger's they just consider the student to be a poor student or one that doesn't listen and this creates stress between the student and teacher. So yes, they do need their own classroom. And I greatly appreciate it Luke, if I have any questions at all I will make sure to contact you!
And you are very welcome KS. If you get any advice that seems fishy or get prescribed medicine that makes you feel a little off, let me know. A second opinion is also always a good idea. My Sister is superb at her job (she's got the cash to prove it) and I'm sure she'll be happy to answer any question you have. Like I said, don't hesitate to ask.
