You need an invite though (at least last I knew you did). I got an invite, wasn't active enough and they cancelled my account. I got it back, but they cancelled it again when I was inactive for a month.

So, if you can get an invite AND stay active (by at least uploading, which was my downfall), then you're golden.

Then have the obligatory UP/DOWN ratio requirement. The mistake I made was stopping uploading (even though I was well above the req'd ratio), my account went cold and they booted me.

Was killer when I had it though.

I got banned from Bitmetv. Downloaded one season of Penn & Teller's Bullshit, seeded for months and never was able to upload enough to get my ratio up. Not my fault people have bad taste.

Sadly, that's what happens with these sites (similar to Underground Gamer).

The sacrifice is to download something popular first, seed the hell out of it, THEN download what you want. It's a small price to pay I suppose.

I'm a big mininova user. Piratebay is of course the site (or used to be for how much longer who knows...)

I've never had a problem on any other private tracker. Bitme just bites.
