Looking for a good TV torrent site....

Post by wclem »

Anyone know of a good TV show torrent tracker? I normally use Demonoid but it is down. We discovered a show called Numb3rs and were sadly disappointed to see Demonoid down. I grabbed season one and two but have none of the rest. Anyone out there able to help?

you never heard of PirateBay???

oh and I remember that show. It's all right. Wasn't a big fan at all. My step-mom thought I would as I'm a math nut. But it's on par with watching space movies in my opinion... it's time after time of saying "but that's NOT how it works!"

I can give you an invite to tvtorrents. They're pretty good, and a lot easier to maintain a ratio on than some other sites. I have some gigs to spare too. PM me your email address.

Mininova.org

Gets everything, piratebay's good too but who know how much longer it wll last. minninova is faster with releases anyway, numbers is normally up about 20 mins after it's aired.

scenereleases.info
or
Rlslog.net

Can tell you when and where tv shows are available.

Doesn't anyone use btjunkie? I like to use it in tandem with Mininova.

I've always preferred PirateBay over a lot of others as PirateBay had very little ads. Though that's been changing lately... still though the ads aren't so glaring. That and the colour schemes of so many others are really freakin' annoying...

Eztv is really good for current shows; I'm not sure how well it works for picking up back seasons.

While torrents are no doubt a very good way to get your TV fix, you may want to think about a direct download from somewhere like megaupload or rapidshare. The advantage of doing this is that, while it is the exact same file as the one you are downloading through MiniNova, you are doing so w/o relying on others to seed. I find this way a lot easier and faster than torrents. While torrents are great for older movies/games/tv it pales in comparison to a site like

http://www.seriesgringas.tv/

or even something like

http://www.zerosec.ws/

While not as easy to use as the first, zerosec has a lot more variety than seriesgringas. If you were to look through the comments, you can usually find direct download links to anything.
