Sonic = Cory Feldman or Christian Slater
Amy = Jessica Alba
Tails = Zach Tyler Eisen
Dr. Robotnic = Jeff Bridges or Christopher Loyd
Knuckles = Matt Dillon
Shadow = Christian Bale (he'd want to be Sonic though)
Rouge = Kathleen Turner

I watched that show when it first aired. they would have to change all the characters unless they are going to mix them up like they did for the sonic comics. I never liked the walrus maybe i just dont like walruses walking on land. You must have been a toddler watching that show. Dic made some great cartoons I watched it on the Family channel. which one did you like better Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog or Sonic the Hedgehog ? I think I lean more to the latter.

And as for Sonic movie casting (the movie would be CGI w/ traditional animation, stop-motion animation, and live-action elements):

* Sonic: Tristan Wildes (Dixon on the new 90210 spinoff)
* Tails: Ryan Cooley (the late JT Yorke on Degrassi TNG)
* Knuckles: Robert Ri'chard or Brandon Jay McLaren (Power Rangers SPD, The Best Years)
* Shadow: ???
* Rouge: Idina Menzel
* Amy: Kristen Chenoweth
* Big the Cat (shuddup!): Seth Rogan

As I see it:

* First film: prequel + adaptation of Sonic 1, CD and 2 in that order
* Second film: Sonic 3 + Sonic & Knuckles
* Third film: post-post-post Sonic Adventure 2, with Sonic teaming up with every character (good, bad and otherwise) to stop the end of the world at the hands of a psychotic Chaos deity.

Also:

STREETS OF RAGE

* Robert Ri'chard as Adam
* Zac Efron (albeit a far more badass Efron, once he grows a pair) as Axel
* Hilary Duff as Blaze (I wanna see her swearing and beating the snot outta people)
* Jennifer Tilly as Helga and Olga (the two twins from the end of level 5 or 6)
* JCVD as Mr. X
