The lunchbox idea is actually pretty cool. But, I would definitely try to fix the Cube first.

The person who made that guide definitely didn't have a gamebit to open it properly. :!:

You can do something similar to this guy, and have a bitching emulation system.

Another option - remove all the guts, cut out the CD holder (although make sure the CD lid still opens ok) and fill the case with candy! Pop open lid to get to the sweet goodness! :D
