The Recent Life & Times of Nick (aka Racketboy)
Re: The Recent Life & Times of Nick (aka Racketboy)
Well, that sucks dude. It sure seems like you are keeping a positive attitude about things and thats all that can be asked when going through a life changing experience like this. I know its hard to realize or even think about now, but things like this normally end up being something that had to happen and eventually you'll look back at it as a good thing. Good luck man, I know I haven't been around here long, but I don't know where in Michigan you are, but if you ever want to get a beer or anything just let me know.

I can't imagine what your going through but at the same time I had no idea.
To be perfectly honest when I posted the "Age Pole" I thought I was the oldest person here but found out I was not. And now to find out that you, racketboy, are not 17-21 but a married guy to ... WOW ... was I way off.
I'm coming up to our 10 year anniversary and like you I know only her after high school. We've been through some hard financial times while I was going through grad school but I wouldn't change a darn thing. And now that I'm set she is also starting her own buisness and it's taking off so fast it makes my head spin.
My point is sometimes life shares the same roads as others. And it's those around you that help you, especially those you personally don't know, help you keep truck'n on.
