I just got a Supercard Mini SD from dealextreme for like $18 shipped. It took a long time to get to me. But still, that's cheap.

They can hold up to 2GB usually. I don't know of any that can go beyond this.

I think 2GB is the limit, because anythng over 2GB is SDHC.

You mentioned you have a Wii. The Gamecube can play video files with the mfe-distro, but only local files [SD card, Mini-DVD]. The Wii, however, can be quite good as a media center, especially with component cables. If you hack your Wii and install Mplayer, you can watch DVDs, stream videos, watch videos from the SD card, USB drive, etc. Or, if you don't want to go the hacking route, just install Orb, and stream video from the web browser.

Well the Wii would be staying in my living room hooked up to my main TV -- mostly for Guitar Hero and, yes, WiiFit (I've lost about 12lbs in the last month or so)

Yes but GBA cards are harder to find. My M3 Perfect takes SD. My EZ Flash IV takes mini-SD.

I got the EZ Flash IV for $20 from DealExtreme. The M3 Perfect was $60 when I bought it last year but it's close to $100 on the two remaining sites that I can find it.

I have no experience with the Super Card. Over at gbatemp.net, they have good reviews of the various flash cards. I highly recommend reading them and then come back with questions.
