just out of curiosity does anybody here own a DSI? If you do how is it? I was about to buy one when they first came out because gamestop had a promotion where you trade in your DS Lite for $70 towards a DSI. After thinking about it for awhile, I'm really happy that I didn't waste my money. I'm perfectly content with my DS Lite :D

So I have all three itereations of the DS, and let me say that the DSi is my favorite one (for DS stuff only). The matte finish feels much nicer than the DS Lite's glossy finish, and the bigger screen really looks much better than the other models.

Yet another reason to avoid the utterly pointless DSi.

You gave your consent when you switched on the console. It's called an EULA. By using the hardware you are waiving all prior rights if the EULA says so.

True, but that still doesn't mean I have to like it.

Yup, it sucks but there's nothing you can do about it. It seems you can't do anything these days without waiving your rights in some shape or form.

I'm still fuming over the region lock. Now we're high and dry if Jump (new adjective) Stars comes out as a DSi exclusive.

LMAO It's region locked?! Yet one more reason to add to my big-ass list of reasons not to get a DSi. What a pathetic excuse for a system.

Only for DSiWare, like how the Wii Shop is region locked, DS cartridge games from all regions still play fine on it.

That's a relief. I'm still not sure if DSi games (when they exist) will be region locked. Only time, or a response from you guys, will tell.

DSi games will be region locked. Ninty said that any game that uses the specific features of the DSi will be region locked. So I assume that means both DSi specific game cartridges as well as DSiWare.

FYI the Wii is entirely region locked.
