Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

On the back of the USB pad, there's an SLS sticker where the embossed Sega logo/model number would be. The start button on the front is subtly different from the official grey one.

What does your controller have on the back?

I have to say that it's a very good knockoff. I'm planning to send an email to Sega to ask if there were ever an official Sega USB controller ever produced.
It has the SLS sticker on the side like you described. I am told that means "Sega Logistics Services" or something like that. Maybe it is authentic, I don't care as long as the thing doesn't break 6 months down the road or fry a USB port on my PC or PS3.

Looking at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Sammy_Holdings

It appears that Sega Logistics Company is part of Sega Sammy which is a holding company for Sega related business. So I guess it's legit. Thanks.

Well I finally got around to buying one of these today. Got a white one off eBay for $19 shipped. Can't wait to try it out with MAME and some other emulators. :D

Don't Give Up on the MadCatz controller if you have a 360! (Can't believe I am saying this about a MadCatz product) but seriously - IT ROCKS!

I have Saturn controllers (6 of them - anybody in Vegas want to play some massive, multiplayer Guardian Heroes??), and have found it to be the best controller in history, but the MadCatz one is right there. Feels nice in your hands, is VERY responsive and the finish work is lovely.

I paid $58.00 and would absolutely do it again. Street Fighter IV is nothing without a good 6 button controller and this is it. Not to mention all the other arcade and fighting games for the system - you should try Virtua Fighter 5 with it!!!!

Yeah I want me a 360 SFIV pad too, but mostly for using it on the Genesis Collection. :D

Some sellers will clearly show that the ones they have are legit. I can link you to the seller I got mine from if you want. They actually show comparison pics of the real one and knockoff side by side.

By the way, I love mine. Made me get back into playing emulators on my PC.
