I think they should all be opened and be replaced with some cheap sports title and re-sealed. That way someone can actually play the game like it was intended instead of using it as a bragging right or decorative object. And the person with the sealed game one care because they will never open it. Yes yes..it's a cool part of history, but the over-inflated sealed game market makes me sick. However games are meant to be played, by george.
So please everyone with sealed games open them and make sure you don't have a copy of NBA Jam inside. You'll be doing us all a favor.

two new features for all video game collectors:
100% free video game auction platform called http://www.sealedgameauctions.com (even for used games). I think its a good thing if you can avoid high ebay fees!
Free sealed game encyclopedia where everyone can add some content:

Well, I've helped drive up the value of sealed games since I've openned a number of vintage sealed games in my life. One was Scooby Doo for Intellivision, quite collectible I'm told. But I wanted to play it so....
Ow! My small intestine!

Re: sealed games discussion
I have one sealed game, The Adventures Of Willy Beamish, I'm just waiting to see its value, then probably sell it, buy an open copy for a fraction of the price, then have some more money for other games. I also got OutRun for the Master System "sealed", but I was in the mood for some OutRun (and I didn't feel like looking through the collection for the Genesis one), so I opened it. Good thing I did, there wasn't even a manual in it, so it wasn't real shrinkwrapping.
