Re: What games have you beaten this year?
I keep track of my beaten games with ratings, so this year I've managed to finish:
Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army 8,5/10
Persona 4 8,5/10
Akuji the Heartless 7/10
Ridge Racers 9/10
Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories 7,5/10
Syphon Filter 8/10
Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies 8/10
Resident Evil (for the second time) 9/10
I've been playing some great games this year (in my opinion).

Re: What games have you beaten this year?
Not many games.
God of War: Both on Normal and God Mode. Loved it;
God of War II: Only on Normal (want to start Titan Mode, but the collecting of Cyclops eyes bums me out about the game);
Shadow of the Colossus: Great game, but didn't feel the urge to finish it again (I really didn't see the point of trying Hard Mode in a game like this);
Mega Man games: This year I set out to finish all Mega Man games of the main and X series and did so. And didn't die a lot! I should probably play the Zero and ZX series, but I don't know.
Metal Slug games: Played Metal Slug Anthology repeatedly at the beginning of the year. No, I didn't 1cc any of them, so I don't appreciate games that much.
I have been playing shmups and fighters every now and then, but I won't count them here.
One game that I felt frustrated for not being able to finish was Kid Chameleon for the Mega Drive (I was playing it on the Sega Genesis Collection). I was playing it through not caring so much about the warps and such. Then I got to a Murder Wall stage and couldn't for the life of me get past it. Next time I'm really using the warp chart. Gonna avoid that thing forever.
