All you have to do is snip one pin on the Hu6280 and it kills the region lockout. I think only one game fails to work as a result of this.

What? I just checked wikipedia in regards to region blocks on the TG-16. It's pretty accurate.

it is possible to play US in a Jap system. I remember physically chopping the plastic ends off an adapter to make it work on my PCE GT.
