What games have you beaten this year?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Well, you can add Half Life 2 to my list. I just finished it tonight. I really enjoyed the last level. But the ending was a let down. I won't spoil it for people that haven't passed it, but there wasn't much of a final battle and then it was just done with a big wtf moment. I guess it's time to move on to episode one and hope it makes sense of this.

Since January?

Bloody Roar 4
Silpheed: The Lost Planet
World Heroes (Neo Geo MVS)
Way of the Samurai
Barbarian
World Heroes (SNES)
Justice League Task Force
World Heroes 2
Onimusha 3
Second Sight
Magic Sword
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness
BlowOut
The Mark of Kri
Nanobreaker

I've at least beaten all of these, though I haven't completed all of them. The fighters I've put in various amounts of time, in some just enough to beat the final boss, in others...well, I play a lot of World Heroes.

Ok, warnings for you. Episode One is decent, but gets outdone by Episode Two, which has a really fun final battle. And it ends in a ridiculous cliffhanger and Episode Three is no where to be found.

I hope my memory serves me right, I tend to forget what I played.

-Gta : Vice City(360 compatible)
-Rayman(Dreamcast)
-Red Steel(Wii): I really enjoyed it, just think it is a crappy worst game ever and you will be impressed
-Super Metroid(VC)
-Code Veronica(Dreamcast): First RE for me, I was really entertained and amazed

-Portal: I am really impressed by this game, it was really original and innovative, and huge fun. It is also amazing how it was puzzle solving***following are SPOILERS***and at the end it turns into a battle/fighting game. The use of portals to get extra momentum for higher jumps made me realize how clever the developers were, I would have never thought of it really(or maybe they figured it out by mistake during testings?). "The cake is a lie" and signs of exit drawn in red paint/blood was really funny. Maybe some thought the game was short, i thought it was perfect in length. Maybe if it was longer it would be repetitive and start to get boring, keep it short and sweet. I do not get why did the machine want to kill us or why were we supposed to get upset at the machine? ***End of Spoilers***

How is Conan for the 360? I love obscure games because I think they are hidden gems. I also like the word obscure which some one here on the forum taught me by saying he liked obscure British comedies.

Conan 360? God of War clone but really enjoyable imo. Tons of combos for each weapon combination.

Really? I played the demo a year ago and wasn't impressed with it at all. Did they polish it up a good bit?

I dont know I never played the demo. I could see alot of people thinking the game was blah but I am a huge Conan fan and I'm sure it helps the enjoyment I got out of it.
