I believe Tribes' servers are officially offline actually, so that kinda kills the reason to get the game...

A couple more suggestions:
Lemmings... I recently downloaded the homebrew version for the ds... wow... it's even better than on the PC!! Hours of frustrating fun.

Worms... what more can I say.

Digger - This was my favorite game when i was like 6, as my first controller was a keyboard :)

Commander Keen

Duke Nukem (2d)

And Scorched Earth...
When I was growing up, my family would sit around the computer and play this game for hours. Missiles, baby nukes, nukes, rollers, funky bombs, and death heads.
I am curious to see if anyone else on here remembers this game.

What, Scorched Earth? Yeah, we'd play that from time to time at Gamers. Fun times.

Jedi Knight has some of the most amazing level design I've ever seen. Force jumping through the air ducts on a star destroyer was mind blowing. Best game in the series, hands down.

Another vote for the Jedi Knight series. Also, Shogo, if you can get the fucking thing to run without issues. Every year I try, and every year I have an additional technical problem with the game. If you have an old DX6 Win98 PC laying around, with a Voodoo card or something, you'll be all good.
