I haven't encountered any problems with getting kicked from games. What I thought was really interesting is going by GameFAQs it seems the PS3 version is more popular than the 360, which is something you don't see too often.Kevman wrote:After playing online for a bit, I can say the two boss characters (Nu and Hakumen) are very overused. I played a guy with Hakumen and every time I beat him he would yell "Fucking Hakumen, all des niggas be usin' him". Needless to say I started cracking up. A lot of rachel users and Arakune users are surfacing too. No Bang though, maybe I'll master him just to screw with people and catch him off guard. Now that I think about it playing with an underused character is a good idea because people will not know how to react. Ok kinda went on a rant there srry.
I'd also like to comment on the arrogancy of the Xbox LIVE community (don't know what it's like over on PSN). There have been many instances where I've been kicked because of my low level. I mean come on, it's a damn players match, what the hell do you care. Just toss me around to practice combos. Who knows, it could be Daigo and he just got the game. Meh.
Overall the online is great and has a pretty intuitive setup. The 6 player rooms feel like the real deal. Once I get my metagame down hopefully me you'll see me on the leaderboards!

I don't want to stereotype, but the XBL community always came off to me as either:MrPopo wrote:I haven't encountered any problems with getting kicked from games. This is the very reason I use Elena in the Street Fighter III series. Well, that, and the fact that she's damn near the perfect woman. I'm also just damn good with her - I've decimated my friends with her after not playing the game for years, while they played practically every weekend.Kevman wrote:maybe I'll master him just to screw with people and catch him off guard. Also, I use Bang. He's my Secondary. My Primary is Taokaka... can't help it. I've always loved cat-girls.

1) Better controller for 2D Fighters, according to most people. Honestly, the 360 controller isn't that bad to me, but I'd still rather use a PS3 controller.
2) Region-Free is a big deal for this game. BlazBlue may not reach Europe because of Battle Fantasia's weak sales. However, many of my European friends still play matches with me because they imported it. Simple enough.
3) Dominance in Japan is also a pretty big deal. Wanna play with the hoi polloi? Then play with the 360. Wanna play with the big boys? Play with the PS3.

I can't get enough of this game. Best online experience for a fighter I've seen. God to love how they deal with ragequitters.
Re: BlazBlue CT - Dedicated Post-Release Impression Thread
Actually I have encountered many Japanese players on the 360 version. Granted the some of the ones I played were level 38's and they SUCKED, but there are decent players there. Obviously the pros go for the PS3 version but that doesn't mean 360 is n00bish.MrPopo wrote: 3) Dominance in Japan is also a pretty big deal. Wanna play with the hoi polloi? Then play with the 360. On a side note I think I have almost mastered the art of Tager. I just need to practice a few combos and get my 360 motions down (I still jump when I try). Anybody who wants to have a Tager battle hit me up! ThatKidPoret!

I'm sorry, but this game is one of the most boring fighters I have ever played. I played it once in the arcade...and didn't even wait to lose. I just got up and left after 2 matches.
Re: BlazBlue CT - Dedicated Post-Release Impression Thread
How in hell could anyone describe this game as boring? It's pretty manic & fast-paced - also, two matches is hardly enough time to figure out all the nuances of the characters that make this game so great.

Seriously though, two matches? It's like you didn't give this game any chance at all.
