BlazBlue CT - Dedicated Post-Release Impression Thread

Post by bobbynewmarkiii »

I've pre-ordered from some ebay dude who imports US games to the UK. It's not arrived yet, but I'm very excited and interested to hear anyone's thought's, particularly if u've snagged a home console copy...

Real disappointed with the soundtrack. Same sound as GGX (before XX), but not nearly as well composed.

Feel free to form your own opinion. I just consider GGX to be some of the finest and deepest metal I've ever heard in my life. I've even burned the soundtrack for friends who dont play games, and they still loved the music.

Haven't had a chance to pick up a copy yet, but I saw this the other day and it instantly rekindled my interest in the game:

Its a lot of fun a builds and improves on the Guilty Gear gameplay formula substantially. I think the music fits the theme of the game nicely. Its pretty fucking deep and thank god it comes with a instructional video.

So I forgot that my office celebrates the holiday tomorrow, so UPS is planning on delivering my copy to work and I suspect that no one will be there to accept delivery. I'm going to keep my eye on the tracking number in case the mailroom staff decided to hang out and book it in to pick it up if it shows as delivered. Otherwise I won't get to play until Monday.

I love the soundtrack and love that they included it on discs along with the instructional videos and such. Finished off arcade mode and played a bit online-gotta do story mode some more. Surprised to see a full page ad for this in a paper!
