I haven't heard anything new from them since the Metallica cover album! I didn't even know they were still around!Mozgus wrote:Not the new Apocalyptica I hope. They're fucking lameass now.hashiriya1 wrote:I want Apocalyptica to do the Ghost n Goblins soundtrack, dammit.

Youtube them. They turned into whiny emo pussies. It still pains me to this day.hashiriya1 wrote:I haven't heard anything new from them since the Metallica cover album! That's apparently the "in" thing that all the kids are doing. Fortunately, the 55-60 year old men I now see in concert haven't gone that route.Mozgus wrote:Youtube them. They turned into whiny emo pussies. It still pains me to this day.

I would probably have ska bands like Voodoo Glow Skulls and Less Than Jake,it would probably be in a fast paced game like a racing game or a skating game.I like Apolcalyptica, their more mainstream now,but I still like them better than most of the popular bands(I can't stand emo eyeliner crap).

Dick Dale covers Final Fantasy has an oddly appealing ring to it.grittykitty wrote:i would like a surf band to do music for an rpg. or a thrash band to do music for a puzzle game. it doesn't matter who, just as long as they do it right. yes.

If I had to go with a band, I'd do a project similar to Android Assault with Iron Maiden or Judas Priest instead of White Snake. Runner-up choice would be to have the band that did the soundtrack to Jets 'n' Guns do the soundtrack for my game.

And yeah, Machinae Supremacy ruled. Dangerously close to emo these days, but still have a good sound on a few tracks. A couple of their early albums are flawless though.
