If you could have any band do a video game soundtrack...

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

On the subject of GitS ps1:

Also, when people say "band" I don't consider "dude behind a computer working in fruityloops making some noises" to be a band. That's probably where so many of you have been arguing with me on. Only a small fraction of my music collection is from what could be considered a "band".

Also DMC3's soundtrack was a masterpiece. Whats with all the hate? It's leagues better than 2 and 4's soundtracks. On par with 1, but drastically different. 1's music couldn't have possibly suited the younger Dante. The few songs in DMC3 that even had lyrics were subtle enough to work, and not steal the attention away from the game. Listening to Cerberus Battle as we speak. And if any of you doubt the level of awesome that is Devils Never Cry, you don't deserve your ears.

Read Mozgus's sig. Apparently by his criteria your dick must be recalibrated post-haste.

God, I just fell flat on my face with setting the criteria of this thread, didn't I? Let's rephrase: if you could have any musician(s) who normally doesn't work with video games compose a score for a video game, which musician(s) would you choose? That being said, guys messing with FrootyLoops have contributed to one of the most thrilling audio/visual (syntaesthetic, if you will; a word I learned after researching the meaning of the game in question) experiences ever crafted: Rez. And vocals were even used at one point! "There is a mind killah'". Word, and so forth.

Ah, I get it now. For the record I don't actually think Megan Fox is attractive. I was more referencing the fact that any sane person would rather do it with a movie star than be mauled to death by a polar bear.
In other words, for everyone but Mozgus you gave the option of a bad choice and a good choice.
