Games that are harder in the U.S/EU than in Japan
This list probably wont be that long but I'm just curious to see the number. To start off, I know that Dynamite Headdy is harder in the US. Bosses take 7 hits vs. 3, and the attack frequency of enemies and bosses is higher.
Older. Not wiser.

I believe Contra Hard Corps. was harder here in the states.

You get a limited amount of continues in headdy too. Sucks, it's a hard game.
I also find it interesting that they started making games harder here than in japan, yet in the 80s we didn't get smb2 (lost levels) because they thought it was too hard for us.

ninja gaiden 3 on famicom is easier. it's also less expensive. i never bothered with getting a copy of the na version.

Mr. Bones on the saturn was alot harder in the u.s. then the Japanese version.

In a reversal of regions the JP version of Actraiser is harder than the US version.

Aren't games usually harder in Europe due to being slowed down or sped up by the 50hz Pal refresh rate?
