Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Games that are harder in the U.S/EU than in Japan

Post by RyaNtheSlayA »

This list probably wont be that long but I'm just curious to see the number. To start off, I know that Dynamite Headdy is harder in the US. Bosses take 7 hits vs. 3, and the attack frequency of enemies and bosses is higher.

You get a limited amount of continues in headdy too. Sucks, it's a hard game.

I also find it interesting that they started making games harder here than in japan, yet in the 80s we didn't get smb2 (lost levels) because they thought it was too hard for us.

Aren't games usually harder in Europe due to being slowed down or sped up by the 50hz Pal refresh rate?
