THANK YOU! For god's sake they keep going on about "wacko jacko", botched nose jobs, dangling his baby out the window, and showing up to court for child molestation charges in his PJs. My wife and I were sad to hear the news because he was such a big deal to us back in the 80s, so we tried to watch a news retrospective and it just mentioned every awful, taudry headline of the last ten years. They seemed to forget that this man was even a musician and a dancer and not just a media circus show freak! Thank God for youtube where we could watch his videos without some goddamn news anchor giving his unwelcomed two cents about whether he thinks MJ was a kid toucher or not.
I agree guys, when Harold Shipman died all they did was talk about all those 'possible' things he did, ignoring that he was a doctor and helped people for years and years, I just hate it when the media does this sort of thing.

Aye, it's a shame Shipman died so early. If he'd just killed 50 more people, he'd have been tied with Henry Lee Lucas, and in the top five most prolific murderers of all time. Hell, he might actually be in the top five, depending on how much Elizabeth Bathory actually got done.

Oh well, we can't all be Christman Gniperdoliga.

I believe he's being sarcastic to make a point. Nevertheless, Shipman and Michael Jackson are not comparable in my opinion. I'm not convinced that Michael is guilty of what he is accused of and he was never convicted, and even if he did molest those kids, his crimes still aren't as horrendous as Shipman's.

RIP Michael Jackson

At least international media (including CNN Int'l) are more respectful towards the pop legend. True he lived in a world of his own (his vast fortune allowed him the privilege) so to think of him as a mere child molester is IDIOTIC at best.

actually after doing some research on the web, I don't believe he molested those kids.

it's just that he had....issues.....he never grew up, he behaved like a kid, so what we find normal for kids to do,(like hang together in a big bed to watch disney movies) isn't exactly ok, if it's between kids and a non-related grown up.

I just feel sorry for him, such a fucked up childhood.

Did his father ever go to jail?

I don't understand that argument, having a messed up childhood is one of the things a lot of convicted peadophiles have in common. Now i'm not attracted to kids, but if I was and I had a lot of money i'd build a theme park in my back garden. I think that it has to be mentioned in the news as there is a chance he did, and i'd think it was completely unfair if someone who abused me was in the news for all the good things they did ignoring the bad, that is far more disrespectful.

On a different note - ABC being played over and over again today has cheered me up no end, thats got to be the happiest song ever.

Dude, how many people can you say that wouldn't build a themepark in their backyard if they had the money, kids or no kids. Even if I'm horrendously poor, I'm planning on building my own arcade, with that shitty black carpeting they always had, and the neon lights.

Which is why it was in Clerks 2, which made that (among the rest of the movie) freaking awesome.

Yea, the only thing i really wanted from his game room was the system stands for the SNES/Genesis/Dreamcast/N64/other. Those took me back to Toys R Us game displays, none of that "built in to the shelf" crap...

good...one less pedifile.

When Farrah Fawcett arrived in heaven, God gave her 1 wish: She wished for all the children to be safe. So God killed Michael Jackson.
