RIP Michael Jackson: King of Pop

Post by winds »

News reports are saying that after going into cardiac arrest, Michael Jackson died today at the age of 50.
Kind of sad news, I grew up listening to his music. Despite all the controversy surrounding him, I would have loved to seen him in concert.

This sucks. I'm always up to listen to some classic Michael Jackson. It's too bad about the whole children-touching thing.

Hats off to the genius that helped compose Sonic 3's music.

In other news, it's time to eBay those copies of moonwalker you've got lying around.

It's funny, Mod_Man_Extreme, because I just looked at my copy and thought that.

I'm listening to Billy Jean right now. He was pretty strange, but he also had some of the most memorable songs of the 1980s. Definitely one of the decade's icons.

We also just completed the rule of three celebrity deaths. Farrah Fawcett died this morning, and Ed McMahon died two days ago.

Yeah, I heard the news from a friend this morning. I was all "Lol, you also said Soulja Boy died..." but then I looked it up and I was all "Crap."
Seriously, RIP Michael Jackson. He was awesome, if not a little crazy.

Yeah I've been listening to my Michael Jackson albums all week for some reason, and then next thing I know he's dead. I'm proper gutted. Was hoping to see him in concert since he announced his residency at the O2 Arena.

It's a sad day for Popular Music. Hand's down the best thing that ever happened to Pop. A legend has passed on.
