Re: Just got Ape Escape
I tried Ape Escape about a year ago, but just couldn't work with the camera. I want to try and go back to it though.

Re: Just got Ape Escape
Is there anyone who is trying to play the game via the ePSXe emulator? I don't have the game yet so I tried it via the emulator. I think there's something wrong my configuration or ePSXe because the camera goes around your character on a continuous basis.

Sorry bout that. Post-Traumatic Bad Forum syndrome was kicking in.Mozgus wrote:Newt. Don't make multiple threads for the same game, especially a week apart. Merged.

Are you using a game-pad with both analog sticks? I havent tried it on ePSXe quite yet, but the game does have a lot of "innovative" use of both analog sticks.gtmtnbiker wrote:Is there anyone who is trying to play the game via the ePSXe emulator? Ape Escape is easily one of my favorite games of all time. It's certainly my favorite platformer.
100% all the way.
I also loved the soundtrack. It was freaking awesome. The minigames were also fantastic. Galaxy Monkey in particular.

Yes, I'm using the Dual Analog pad. I still need to try a few more things such as using another emulator and perhaps increase the deadzone on the controller.newt42 wrote:Are you using a game-pad with both analog sticks?
