I tried Ape Escape about a year ago, but just couldn't work with the camera. I want to try and go back to it though.

Is there anyone who is trying to play the game via the ePSXe emulator? I don't have the game yet so I tried it via the emulator. I think there's something wrong my configuration or ePSXe because the camera goes around your character on a continuous basis.

Are you using a game-pad with both analog sticks? I havent tried it on ePSXe quite yet, but the game does have a lot of "innovative" use of both analog sticks.

Ape Escape is easily one of my favorite games of all time. It's certainly my favorite platformer.

100% all the way.

I also loved the soundtrack. It was freaking awesome. The minigames were also fantastic. Galaxy Monkey in particular.

Yes, I'm using the Dual Analog pad. I still need to try a few more things such as using another emulator and perhaps increase the deadzone on the controller.
